Because of conditions in Greece, candidates for this trip need to be in good health, relatively fit, and able to carry their own bags. We travel light and fast and spend a lot of time on our feet. Many of the sites we visit require good mobility and balance to navigate.

Trip costs:

The price of the trip covers: flight, ground transportation (including the Athens' Metro), hotels (double occupancy), most meals, and all museum/site fees. You are responsible for logistics and costs associated with getting to a "hub" airport (see below) and for covering the expenses of your passport, bags and belongings, souvenirs, alcohol with meals, MP3 player, and incidentals (snacks, water, etc.) Price is "per person"

  • 10 days/nine nights (including one travel day)
  • Flights are arranged from major international airports (e.g., Dallas, Atlanta, New York, Detroit, Chicago, etc.)
  • Reservations for flights are coach class (unless special arrangements are made)
  • Rooms are double occupancy (unless special arrangements are made)
  • Cost : $3495
  • A $1200 non-refundable deposit is required. This deposit secures your place on the trip and allows me to purchase your air ticket. The remainder of the fee ($2295) is due 60 days before our departure.
